What to Expect when you have an assessment at BPS

What to expect:
Once you advise you would like to make a booking, we will contact you by your preferred means of communication (phone, email, messenger) to arrange a date and time for the assessment to take place.
We will send you some pre-assessment paperwork for completion prior to the assessment appointment.
When you arrive for your appointment, please take a seat in our reception area and you will be met by our psychologist at the appointment time. Your child will then attend the assessment room for the testing.
Testing time is approximately 2 hours.
At the completion of the testing, we will confirm your follow up appointment date/time for the following week and email you and your child's teacher the additional required assessment paperwork (functional capacity assessment for ASD assessment; or Conners assessment for ADHD assessment).
The comprehensive report will be completed within four weeks of the assessment (providing all paperwork has been returned). You will then attend a short in person session during which our psychologist will go through the report with you and offer you an opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
Fees
The full fee for each assessment inclusive of the report is $2000 plus GST.
If you would like multiple assessments (e.g. ASD and ADHD the assessments will be conducted on separate days and follow the same protocols).
